Further progress
Blocking in color for the background. I also changed around some of the colors on the girl herself, made them better match her surroundings and each other. And also, her eyes are now pink/orange/red. ^o^

PROGRESS INDEED, ITS FLOOPIN' AMAZIN'!!!! I love the background and how its all sketchy. Really really cool.
I have to say, though... I'm not sure that the blue cape quite matches with the color scheme... It's a bit jarring...
And her skin color is a little too similar to the background... hrmmm.... maybe make the background darker?
Yeah, I'm still having issues with my color scheme. I'm planning on adding more blue to the green in the background, particularly in the receding mountainous area. I'm also going to make it LIGHTER than her skin, so that the background doesn't take over the image, but I don't know if it's going to work out. We'll have to see.
I'm probably going to get rid of MOST of the sketchyness, but I do like it too so I'm going to try to keep some.
