Elf

This is another shot of the elf from a previous post. It's quite recent. I penciled and then inked the lines. I like the lines on this one, and I opted for no shading, just clean lines. ^_^

This character is moody and pretentious, and acts like a hero all the time but never likes taking credit. He goes along with the other fantasy characters.

Tree nymph

I did pencils first, then the ink was applied with a paint brush. I did the brush strokes on the arm pretty well, but with everything else, I need a bit more practice. <_< I did really well with drawing the trees, for me at least, because mostly I suck at trees. Maybe I should have drawn in a bit more of a background, but oh well. ^_^ And yes, her hair is sort of connected to the trees.

Bird girl without makeup

Ugh. I haven't posted in a while. I sort of have a legitimate excuse, but I have a feeling that no one wants to hear an excuse. So, I'll just sort of skip over that. ^_^

Anyway, this is Chou, without makeup on. I tried to make it really change her face, when she put it on. Don't ask me why she has a star on her forehead. She just does. Also, her hair is longer because she... um, has a wig on or something. >_>

I put some effort into a background, something that all artists are encouraged to do. It's not enough just to draw a subject! You must put in backgrounds as well! o_o Ahem. Well, I try to, but sometimes...

Demons

This is some form of demon, or maybe a mountain goat type person, though I just made her up. There is also a droopy hell bird sitting on her arm, inspired by a pet starling that we once had. She was evil. And adorable.

Wolf

I couldn't decide what he should wear, so I left it blank. ^_^; He is indeed a wolf dude, and he is buddies with Mochi, which puts him in the same story as the cat girl, bird girl, and goat dude. His hair is supposed to be silver with black tips, but you can't really tell. His ears turned out well, they don't look like cat ears and that's good. Also, his eyes are cool. >_<

This is a recent sketch.

Mochi Revisted

This is a new but quick sketch, with a side view and a back view as well. I think I'm closer to the character, which is good because I was running out of ideas. -_- Her hair is pretty much right, as is her face. But, I definitely need to work on the outfit. ^_^ Ah well, it's the best part anyway.

Queen of the elves

This is also a very recent drawing, of Sei's mother. And yes, she is supposed to look freaky. o_o She's the queen of the elves, and she is pretty freaky herself. She prides herself of her looks and her long ears, and likes to show both off. The thing she's holding is a scepter. It's not particularly magical. It's just a stick. The worst thing she could do with it is club someone over the head.

I'll draw the king eventually, but in my mind he's mentally unstable and pretty damn ugly, and I'm bad at drawing ugly people. >_>; Oh well.

Whoops...

Haven't posted in a while. The network's been really funky, and I've been busy. ._. I have been working on a lot of art tho, so I've got some recent things to post. This one is part of the inked and kinda funky lookin' animals. <_<

I used thinner lines for this goat, because I wanted to portray quick and light movement. I was inspired by our new baby goats and sheep who like to bounce of walls, climb on top of their mothers, and leap off rocks. ~_~ They're adorable. =^_^=

Rabbit girl

This is just a quick sketch, and even though I can do way better side views now, I kinda like it. I drew this a while ago, just for fun, not for anything in particular. She's not a character that I'm working on or anything.

Apple Tree

This is a small version of the one I painted on the kitchen table. >_> Well, the underneath of the kitchen table, because it's made out of glass and you can see the tree without scratching it off. ^_^ I used acrylic paint for both the glass and this piece of computer paper. Oh yeah, and the paper wrinkled up a hell of a lot, so this was pretty difficult to scan. -_-
